Corporate Social Responsibility

Rooted in nature, invested in community.

Every litre of crude avocado oil we export starts on a smallholder's land. We see it as our responsibility to reinvest in the schools, farms and households that make our supply chain possible — not as a side project, but as part of how we operate.

Our commitment

Three ways we give back

School Infrastructure

Funding and building classrooms for schools in the communities our outgrower network draws from.

Seedlings & Fertilizer

Distributing certified avocado seedlings and NPK fertilizer to farming households at planting season.

Farmer Training

Field days and hands-on sessions on grafting, pruning, disease control and post-harvest handling.

School Infrastructure

Classrooms for local schools

Many of the primary schools serving our outgrower communities operate with overcrowded, aging classrooms. Where we can, we fund and build new classroom blocks — handed over to the school and the local community once complete, with no strings attached to our supply relationship.

These projects are identified together with local administration and school management committees, so the investment goes where it's needed most.

Seedlings & Fertilizer

Backing farmers at planting season

A healthy outgrower network depends on farmers being able to plant and maintain good trees. Ahead of each planting season, we distribute certified Hass avocado seedlings and NPK fertilizer directly to farming households across our sourcing counties.

This support is provided without exclusivity conditions — farmers remain free to sell to any buyer. Our aim is a stronger, more productive smallholder base across the whole region, not a locked-in supplier list.

Farmer Training

Modern techniques, in the field

Fruit quality starts long before it reaches our reception yard. Our agronomy team runs regular field days with farmers — covering variety selection, grafting, pruning, pest and disease management, correct fertilizer application, and post-harvest handling that protects fruit for the journey to the plant.

Sessions are practical and hands-on, run at the tree, using real fruit and real soil — not classroom theory.

Sourcing from a farmer, a school, or a county administration?

We're always open to hearing from communities within our sourcing counties about where support is most needed.
